No. A theme controls how your site looks and behaves, not where files live. Siskin plays self-hosted episodes through its own player and links out to Spotify, Apple Podcasts and the rest for everything else. Your audio stays with your media host, or with Ghost's own file storage for smaller files.

Yes, and that is what the separate blog and podcast categories are for. Written posts and episode pages stay in their own streams, so a reader browsing articles is not wading through show notes, and vice versa.

It was designed with vloggers, course creators and advisers in mind alongside podcasters. Responsive video is supported throughout, and membership tiers work the same way whether you are gating audio, video or written material.

Yes. Siskin supports Ghost memberships and subscription tiers, so you can publish public episodes alongside members-only or paid-members-only ones. Ghost handles billing through Stripe; the theme renders the locked content and the upgrade prompts.

Yes, because the two are independent. Your existing feed keeps serving Apple Podcasts and Spotify exactly as it does now, and the site links out to those listings. Nothing about installing a theme touches your feed or your subscribers.

No. Content in Ghost is stored separately from the theme, so activating a new one changes presentation only. Your posts, tags, members and URLs stay where they are, which also means you can try it and switch back.
